Several New Mineral-Derived Building Material Manufacturing Plants Come Online During the First Quarter of 2005

Cardinal IG, a subsidiary of Cardinal Glass Industries Incorporated (Eden Prairie, Minnesota), has begun manufacturing operations at its insulated glass manufacturing plant in Vinton, Virginia. The company, which is experiencing explosive demand for its concrete roofing tile products also recently completed a $30 million expansion of its plant in Phoenix, Arizona.
