Researched by Industrialinfo.com (Industrial Information Resources; Houston, Texas). Technetics Corporation (DeLand, Fl.) has selected R&W Custom Builders (Daytona Beach, Fl.) to build a 50,000 square foot building in DeLand, Florida. Construction is planned to begin in October of this year and when completed, manufacturing operations in building space that is currently being leased will be relocated to this new site. The Volusia county council recently approved rezoning of the property to accommodate this new plant that will produce seals for jet aircraft engines.
Technetics, a privately held company, manufactures metal fiber based products for the aerospace, power generation and process industries. Headquartered in DeLand, Florida, this is the sole company location with annual sales ranging from $10 to $15 million and up to 40 employees.
