Arizona's Cholla Power Station Takes Two Units Offline for Repairs

The 302-megawatt (MW) Unit 3 was shut down to repair water wall leaks in the boiler, and the 414-MW Unit 4 was shut down because of a boiler feed pump issue.

The power plant has four generating units, with a total capacity of 1,110 MW when at full load. Unit 1 is generating, and Unit 2 is being prepared for a return to service.
