Chemical Company Begins Construction on Florida Distribution Center to Support Regional Plants

Arizona Chemical Company (Jacksonville, Florida), a subsidiary of International Chemical Company (NYSE:IP)(Stamford, Connecticut), broke ground on a chemical distribution center on an 11-acre site in Marianna, Florida in early September of 2005. Conlan Company (Marietta, Georgia) was awarded by the project developer, Prologis (NYSE:PLD)(Aurora, Colorado), to construct the 115,000 square-foot distribution center that will have an estimated construction cost of $10 million. Approximately $3 million is being allotted for distribution equipment to include re-baggers and a racking system that should be installed by January of 2006.
