Saudi Arabian July Crude Oil Exports Hit Nearly One-Year Low - Saudi Arabia's crude oil exports in July fell to their lowest level in nearly a year, data from the Joint Organizations Data Initiative showed on Thursday. The country's oil exports stood at 5.741 million barrels per day in July, their lowest level since August 2023. (Reuters)

U.S. Seeks Oil for Strategic Reserve Through May Next Year - The U.S. is slowly replenishing the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, seeking to buy up to another 6 million barrels of oil for delivery through May next year, after the largest sale yet from the stockpile in 2022. The Energy Department said on Wednesday it is seeking to buy the oil for delivery from February through May to the reserve's Bayou Choctaw, Louisiana site. ConocoPhillips, Uniper Agree to 10-Year Gas Supply Deal - German energy company Uniper (Dusseldorf) and U.S. oil and gas producer ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP) (Houston, Texas) said they have agreed on a supply deal for up to 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas over the next 10 years. Under the agreement, ConocoPhillips will supply pipeline natural gas to Uniper in northwest Europe. Financial details were not disclosed. ConocoPhillips has stakes in Norwegian gas fields from where gas is piped to continental Europe and Britain. (Reuters)
