Construction Continues at Request Foods' Manufacturing Plant in Michigan

The company owns a 350,000-square-foot production plant and headquarters in Holland. The new plant, which is being built on 128th Avenue, is expected to come online next year. The facility represents an investment of $35 million and is expected to generate 250 new jobs. Request Foods retained Dan Vos Construction Company (Ada, Michigan) to provide design-build services for the building. Installation of production equipment and machinery is scheduled to begin by the end of the year, with overall project completion anticipated for spring 2011.
