ExxonMobil, QatarEnergy Receive Three-Year Extension for LNG Plant Completion - Federal regulators on Thursday gave an Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) (Spring, Texas) and QatarEnergy (Doha, Qatar) liquefied natural gas (LNG) joint venture a three-year extension to finish building the Golden Pass LNG plant, a regulatory document showed. The extension was granted due to delays caused when lead construction contractor Zachry Holdings filed for bankruptcy in March, according to a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission filing. DTE Energy Boosts Third-Quarter Earnings - Electric and gas utility DTE Energy Company's (NYSE:DTE) (Detroit, Michigan) net income for the quarter ended September 30 rose to $460 million from the same quarter last year. The company's electric segment, the largest unit by net income, reported adjusted earnings of $437 million in the quarter compared with $268 million a year ago. However, the gas segment posted an adjusted loss of $13 million in the third-quarter compared to a loss of $5 million a year ago, partly due to higher operating costs. (Reuters)

BP Completes Acquisition of Solar Developer Lightsource bp - BP (NYSE:BP) (London, England) has completed its acquisition of the remaining 50.03% interest in Lightsource bp (London), one of the world's leading developers and operators of utility-scale solar and battery storage assets.
