Plant officials estimated the facility will be put back online as early as September 10, barring unforeseen delays. Public Service Enterprise Group (NYSE:PEG) (Newark, New Jersey) owns and operates the plant.

Officials said a team of specialists were investigating the leak at Unit 02, which is the plant's only generating unit. The plant can run on coal, fuel oil or natural gas.
