Oregon Clean Energy Begins Construction on Natural Gas-Fired Plant in Ohio

The new facility will have a 799-megawatt (MW) capacity and replace a coal-fired plant that was closed two years ago.

The new facility is on 30 acres of land, about one mile north of the retired coal plant. NAPD is developing the project, which is expected to cost $850 million.
