Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Perenco Energy (London, England) plans to exploit natural gas resources offshore Gabon and produce 0.7 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) along with liquefied petroleum gas at its upcoming facility in Cap Lopez. The new plant will make Gabon self-sufficient in butane production as soon as 2026.
In addition, Perenco has invested in the development of the Etinde offshore natural gas field in Cameroon by means of a new 1.4-MTPA floating liquefaction facility by 2026.
