U.S. November Crude Oil Production Rises to Monthly Record - U.S. crude oil production in November rose 0.6% to a new monthly record of 13.31 million barrels per day (BBL/d), as output in Texas and New Mexico notched records as well, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday. Crude oil production in Texas rose by 1.4% to 5.66 million BBL/d, a monthly record, while crude output in New Mexico gained by 2.4% to 1.88 million BBL/d, also a record, the EIA said. (Reuters)

U.S. Crude Oil Inventories Grow - U.S. crude oil inventories increased 1.234 million barrels for the week ending January 26, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). Gasoline inventories rose 1.157 million barrels last week, with a 2.541 million-barrel draw in distillates, according to the EIA. (IIR)

Phillips 66 Shuts Section of Oklahoma Pipeline After Fire - Phillips 66 (NYSE:PSX) (Houston, Texas) said it has shut a section of a natural gas pipeline it operates in the Oklahoma Panhandle after a fire and rupture on Tuesday. The company said the fire was extinguished early on Wednesday, while it had not yet determined the cause of the incident. (Reuters)
