Pine Lake Corn Processors Plan Mid November Kick-Off on Iowa Ethanol Plant

After over two years of raising money, reorganizing, and planning, Pine Lake Corn Processors LLC (Eldora, Iowa) is planning a mid November re-kick on a new fuel ethanol plant that will be located in Steamboat Rock, Iowa. (Plant 1056510, PEC 29000672).
The company teamed up with leading ethanol plant designer Delta T Corporation (Williamsburg, Virginia) and partnered with Monsanto Enviro-Chem Systems Incorporated (Saint Louis, Missouri), a wholly owned subsidiary of Monsanto Company, to construct an over $26 million, 20 million gallon per year ethanol plant in Hardin County Iowa.
Along with the 400 area farmers and investors, Monsanto chipped in some $4 million to become part owner of the project.

Through the recent partnership with the agricultural giant, the venture reorganized, received new financing and construction is finally getting underway.
The plant will chew up over seven million bushels of locally grown corn to produce the renewable fuel and will also produce by products dried distillers grains and C02.
Once construction begins roughly ten days from now, the plant could be operational in 12 to 14 months.
