Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas). Construction started last week on LS Powers (East Brunswick, New Jersey) 600-megawatt Plum Point Power Station located in Osceola, Arkansas.
With completion scheduled for early 2010, the Plum Point plant is being built under a turnkey contract (engineering procurement, and construction) with Plum Point Power Partners, which is a joint venture of Zachry Construction (San Antonio, Texas), Black & Veatch Construction (Overland Park, Kansas), and Gilbert Central Corporation (Omaha, Nebraska), an affiliate of Kiewit Construction (Omaha, Nebraska).
The plant will be owned and operated by Plum Point Energy Associates, LLC (East Brunswick, New Jersey), a wholly-owned subsidiary of LS Power.
