Renewable Energy Systems Commissions 14th Windfarm in France and Crosses 4,000-Megawatt Milestone

EOLE-RES has completed 14 projects in France, with a combined power generation capacity of 300 MW. The projects generate about 800 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, catering to the requirements of 320,000 residents. To date, these ventures have saved 233.500 tons per annum of potential carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in the region. The firm has several projects in the pipeline with a potential capacity of about 2 GW, including 150 MW of ongoing solar power ventures. There are eight windfarms presently under development across France, with a combined capacity of 232 MW.

These projects cater to the electricity requirements of 2.2 million consumers and have resulted in annual savings of 4.4 million tons of CO2 emissions to date.
