Sempra Confirms Decision on Mexico LNG Plant, May Delay Decision on Texas Plant - Sempra Energy (NYSE:SRE) said on Tuesday it will go forward this year with plans to sanction a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export plant in Mexico, but may push back a decision on a separate Texas plant. A final investment decision will come in the second quarter for its Costa Azul LNG plant, a one-quarter delay to its earlier schedule. However, Sempra will no longer commit to a third-quarter decision on its Port Arthur LNG project, officials said in a conference call. (Projects 300211654, 300211923, 300350853)

Occidental Further Reduces Capital Spending - Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:OXY) announced a further reduction in 2020 capital spending to between $2.7 billion and $2.9 billion from its original 2020 guidance of $5.2 billion to $5.4 billion, a midpoint reduction of 47%. (PR Newswire)

U.S. Crude Oil Supplies Rise - U.S. crude oil inventories rose by 1.6 million barrels in the week ended March 20 to 455.4 million barrels. U.S. gasoline stocks fell by 1.5 million barrels last week to 239.3 million barrels. Distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and heating oil, fell by 679,000 barrels in the week, to 124.4 million barrels. (Reuters)
