Woodfibre LNG's planned liquefied natural gas (LNG) production site in Squamish, British Columbia, has been delayed due to COVID-19. Construction was to start this summer, but a contracted fabrication company in China has been shut down due to the outbreak. Also, a preferred marine contractor filed bankruptcy and will not be able to mobilize in time. Construction has been pushed out to next year.
