Researched by Industrial Information Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--North Anna Nuclear Power Station, which is owned and operated by Dominion Generation (Glen Allen, Virginia), a subsidiary of Dominion Resources Incorporated (NYSE:D) (Richmond, Virginia), has delayed Unit 2 reactor from returning to service this month. Refueling began September 13, and the unit was scheduled to return last weekend. Because of several steam leaks, the unit held at 7% for a week. The unit is now back to 0% because of a blown transformer. Since this incident, engineers are now saying it is going to take at least 10 days to repair this transformer.
