Genting Berhad Selects Wison Group for FLNG in Indonesia

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Genting Berhad (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) subsidiaries PT Layar Nusantara Gas and Genting Oil & Gas Sdn Bhd have awarded Wison New Energies (Shanghai) an engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) contract for a floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility in Indonesia.

The project aims to deliver a facility with a capacity of 1.2 million tonnes per annum. Scheduled for sail-away in the second quarter of 2026, this marks Indonesia's first FLNG facility. It is planned for deployment in the West Papua region.
