Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Over the next 24 months, the grain handling and storage segment of the Food and Beverage Industry will be bustling with construction activity. Project values range from $700,000 to $120 million, and the cumulative investment value is just more than $1.1 billion.
Spending plans for the U.S. show 100 projects that combine for $893 million, while figures for Canada show eight projects with a total value of $259 million.

In another development, Cargill Incorporated (Wayzata, Minnesota) plans to begin construction this spring on an $18.5 million elevator and flat storage facility in Iowa that will have a storage capacity of 5.2 million bushels.
