New South Wales, Australia-based cement building products manufacturer, James Hardie Industries, Limited, has decided to close its Artisan Roofing subsidiary pilot plant operations in Fontana, California. The company had been running pilot and market studies for the new product, as well as site studies for construction of a $50 million grassroot, commercial-scale fiber cement roofing products manufacturing plant at the site, located at 15431 Santa Ana Avenue in Fontana.
