In a press release announced yesterday, the company stated, “The decision not to proceed with the roofing product was made after review of market testing results concluded that greater shareholder values would be created by focusing on other fiber cement growth initiatives.”

The company will focus on its fiber cement siding products and is nearing completion of a new $98 million fiber cement siding manufacturing plant in Pulaski, Virginia.
