(Houston, Texas) is planning to expand its Carteret New Jersey refined petroleum products marine terminal. Kinder Morgan will construct three 100,000 barrel above ground storage tanks in its Phase II Expansion Project.
Kinder Morgan will release construction bid packages on the $10 million project in late April of 2003. Construction is expected to begin in June of 2003 with completion targeted for early in the forth quarter of the same year.
A phase III expansion project is already under an economic study and could add an additional 500,000-600,000 barrels of storage in 2004.
Kinder Morgan Liquids Terminals L.L.C is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. (Houston Texas) (NYSE:KMP).
