Korea District Heating Corporation's 40-50-megawatt (MW) class compact cogeneration power plant, which previously used oil, will be reborn as an eco-friendly and high-efficiency liquefied natural gas (LNG) cogeneration plant with a scale of 261 MW. The corporation has initiated the reconstruction of LNG cogeneration plants in Daegu and Cheongju, South Korea.
