Groundbreaking for the combined-cycle expansion project started last week. Full construction kick-off is scheduled for December 2004, with commercial operation anticipated to begin in Fall 2005.
Cummins & Barnard Incorporated headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is providing engineering services for the project. The Christman Company based in Lansing, Michigan, is the general contractor and will subcontract out the turbine installation work scheduled to begin in Spring 2005.
