...the 230 ton per day feed mill will be built by the General Contractor...
Released Tuesday, August 07, 2001
Researched by Industrialinfo.com (Industrial Information Resources, Inc, Houston, Texas), Midwest Farms Incorporated (Onalaska, Wisconsin) a swine breeding and grow-out company supporting the Pork Industry with quality swine, has selected EBM Systems (Norfolk, Nebraska) as the general contractor for construction of a $6 million swine feed mill.
Plans call for the construction of a 230-ton per day feed mill to supply premium corn based feed to their local swine breeding and grow-out facility in Burlington, Colorado. By producing and monitoring ingredients in the feed, Midwest Farms can reduce bacteria in the swine's diet and improve performance with minimal cost, thus saving money.
EBM Systems is proceeding with soil sampling and site preparations in anticipation of construction later this year. Once the construction has been completed the feed mill should be on-line by mid-2003.
Midwest Farms, founded in 1997, is a privately held company based in Onalaska, Wisconsin. The company operate only one swine breeding and grow-out farm in the US.
