Navoiazot JSC Completes Uzbekistan Chemical Project, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Navoiazot JSC launched the production of 100 million tons per annum (MTPA) of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), 75 MTPA of caustic soda and 42 MTPA of acetylene at the end of December in Navoi, Uzbekistan. The consortium of Chinese companies, China CAMC Engineering and HQC Shanghai Company was responsible for engineering, procurement and construction. After the commissioning of new units, Uzbekistan will reduce the import of these products and plans to export abroad.
