NJR's Windfarm Begins Commercial Operations in Carrol County, Iowa

NJR Clean Energy Ventures is part of New Jersey Resources (NYSE: NJR) (Wall, New Jersey).

The windfarm is equipped with Siemens AG (NYSE:SI) (Munich, Germany) wind turbines, and will sell energy under a 25-year power purchase agreement with MidAmerican Energy Company (Des Moines, Iowa). The project had a total investment value of $42 million.
