Petroreconcavo Plans to Start O&G Production in Brazil's Riacho da Forquilha, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Petroreconcavo, through its subsidiary Potiguar E&P, plans to perform a field life extension program in Riacho da Forquilha, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, with capital approval expected this year.

The project includes a re-entry workover, pneumatic pump exchanges, as well as well tubing and flow-line replacement to reactivate 100 wells at several fields in the cluster during the next two years. All the cluster's production goes to the Upanema Crude Oil and Natural Gas Battery, and then is delivered to Petrobras' Guamare Natural Gas Processing Plant.

Once the cluster reaches about 6,500 barrels per day (BBL/d), Petroreconcavo plans to proceed with drilling programs in 2022.
