LyondellBasell continues with a turnaround of its 6,120-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether (MTBE) and 300,000-ton-per-year Propylene Oxide Styrene Monomer (POSM 1) units in Channelview, Texas. The restart is expected in late May.

International
Reliance Industrial Limited, on May 8, began a 40-day maintenance turnaround of the 2,072 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit at its Hazira Petrochemical Complex in India. The restart is expected by June 16.

ENEOS Corporation has delayed the restart of the 1,190 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit and 848.8 million-pound-per-year propylene unit at its Kawasaki Chemical Complex in Japan. Both units are expected to restart on May 20.

JNC Petrochemical Corporation, today, May 12, began a 44-day planned turnaround of the 138.9 million-pound-per-year High Density Polyethylene Resins (HDPE) Unit at its Ichihara Goi Chemicals Plant in Japan. The restart is expected on June 24.
