By 2023, combined output of oil and gas is expected to reach close to the record level seen in 2004, the agency said, although gas would have a greater share than before. (Reuters)
U.S. Drillers Cut Oil Rigs - The number of rigs drilling for oil in the U.S. declined by 11 for the week ending January 10, marking the largest drop since October and bringing the total count to 659. In the same week a year ago, there were 873 active rigs, although the amount of oil produced per rig continues to increase. (Reuters)
