Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) will host special guest WPS Industries Group (Ruston, Louisiana) as part of this week's "Industry Today." WPS brings to the table years of expertise in providing various customers custom fabrication of their equipment to their specifications. WPS specializes in plate fabrication, including environmental equipment, stacks, and ductwork. In addition, WPS provides pneumatic conveying systems as well as mechanical material handling systems. WPS Industries operates its own machining and manufacturing plant, providing port access to the Mississippi River, and has the capacity to accommodate approximately 120,000 labor hours per year. WPS has larger-than-normal shop capacities with two 30-ton bridge cranes and two 10-ton bridge cranes, each 77 feet across and 30 feet under hook. WPS can roll 10' by 1" mild steel. For cutting, WPS has a HD Plasma burning table that is 12' x 43'.
WPS focuses on attention to detail within the manufacturing and fabrication processes and on understanding the individual needs and requirements of its customers/clients. This level of attention to detail ensures complete satisfaction and avoids complications during the installation process in the field. To offer a complete fabrication solution, WPS can provide fabrication with its own UL-rated electrical panel shop, machine shop, fabrication shop, and indoor painting shop, all on one site. WPS, located in north Louisiana, offers river port access for large projects and interstate access to meet almost any transportation or logistic need.
WPS offers the added value of providing installation services. WPS has provided installation services to its customers for the past 37 years and holds mechanical and electrical contractor licenses in multiple states across the country.
