Latin America's Pharmaceutical & Biotech Industry is planning 108 capital-spending projects, valued at $638.22 million, that are planned to begin construction in the second quarter of 2021. Brazil ranks first in terms of investment, with more than $193 million, followed by Mexico with $140.1 million and Costa Rica with $85 million.
Costa Rica's projects include MicroVention's $80 million medical devices plant expansion in Alajuela, which is the single highest-valued pharma-bio project in Latin America.
