Nevada Power Company (NPC) (Las Vegas, Nevada), a subsidiary of Sierra Pacific Resources (NYSE:SRP) (Reno, Nevada), has completed a $45 million expansion project at the Harry Allen Power Station located in Apex, Clark County, Nevada. Construction for the project began in August 2005, and was completed during the first quarter of 2006. NPC commenced full commercial start up for the project in late May.
