Pfizer Invests $20 Million in Projects in Latin America, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Worldwide leading pharmaceutical company Pfizer is heading the vaccine race against the COVID-19 virus and has recently requested to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to extend its human clinical trials in phase 3, increasing the amount of participants and the variety of population involved.

Industrial Info is tracking $20 million in seven active projects in the three operational plants Pfizer has in Latin America: Itapevi, Brazil; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Toluca, Mexico. This last facility mentioned represents 75% of the Pfizer's total investments in the region, followed by Itapevi and Argentina with the rest 25%.
