North America
Total, on November 14, shut down the 40,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Atmospheric Crude Unit (ACU) 2 for planned repairs at its 190,000-BBL/d Port Arthur, Texas, refinery. The restart is planned for November 24.

International
Banias Refinery Company (BRC) has rescheduled a planned 30-day plant-wide turnaround of its 131,000-BBL/d Banias Refinery in Syria due to the unavailability of service providers. The turnaround now is tentatively expected to begin by February 1, 2022. Eleven major units are included. The restart is expected by March 2, 2022. The facility is operating at 75% capacity due to a crude oil shortage.

Homs Refinery Company (HRC) has delayed the restart of nine units at its 121,000-BBL/d Homs Refinery in Syria due to some additional repairs needed. The restart is expected by November 23. The units have been under a planned shutdown since September 15.

Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company Limited (JPRC) has delayed the restart of the 17,900-BBL/d Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) 1 and 12,300-BBL/d CDU 2 at its 105,000-BBL/d Zarqa Refinery in Jordan. The restart now is tentatively expected by December 30. The units were forced to shut down on May 18 due to market economics.
