Researched by Industrial Info India (Delhi, India)--India's state-owned oil company, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BSE:500547) (BPCL) (Mumbai, Maharashtra), has selected Engineers India Limited (BSE:532178) (EIL) as the project management consultant for the expansion and modernization of its Kochi refinery. The Kochi refinery, which is located at Ambalmugal near the city of Kochi in Kerala, is one of the two refineries at BPCL. The refinery currently has a crude oil refining capacity of 9.5 million metric tonnes per annum. The refinery has a product portfolio of the 190,000 barrels per day. In addition to its range of quality fuels, the refinery also includes petrochemical feedstock and specialty products.
