Delays Hit Elba Island LNG Development, an Industrial Info Market Brief
Kinder Morgan's Elba Island Train 1 liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Savannah, Georgia, was scheduled to commence startup in April, but this has been pushed back due to construction delays. This not the first time the startup has been pushed back, as the original planned startup was in fourth-quarter 2018. The first six Elba Island trains are expected to come online in one-month intervals, once startup begins.
