Cheniere Must Do Work on LNG Storage Terminals - U.S. energy and safety regulators told Cheniere Energy Incorporated (NYSE:LNG) on Tuesday the company had to take several steps before the agencies would authorize the return to service of two liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks that leaked at the Sabine Pass LNG export terminal in Louisiana. The U.S. Department of Transportation's Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission told Cheniere that neither agency is prepared to authorize a return to service at this time. Tellurian Signs LNG Purchase Deal With Total - Tellurian Incorporated (NASDAQ:TELL) announced that it has entered into definitive agreements with Total S.A. (NYSE:TOT), for Total to purchase 1 million tonnes per year of LNG from the Driftwood LNG terminal and for Total to invest $500 million in Driftwood Holdings LP. (Project 300292225) (Business Wire)

U.S. Crude Stocks Fall Nearly 10 Million Barrels - U.S. crude inventories fell by 9.5 million barrels in the week ending July 5, as refineries processed the most crude oil since January, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday.
