Formosa Plastics will see the following events during the first quarter this year at its Point Comfort, Texas, plant: Start of production at its new 2.65 billion pound-per-year Olefins 3 unit, as production ramps up to 100% on-spec operations; and commissioning of its new, 881 million pound-per-year low density polyethylene (LDPE) unit. Also, construction of its new, 551 million-pound-per-year Polypropylene 3 unit is expected to be completed during first-quarter 2021.

ONGC Petro Additions Limited has rescheduled a 30-day planned turnaround on the 2.42 billion pound-per-year ethylene unit at its Dahej Complex in India. The turnaround, initially planned to start April 15, will now begin December 17. Expectations are to complete repairs and restart the unit by January 15, 2021.
GAIL India is planning a 30-day turnaround on the 992 million pound-per-year ethylene unit, beginning April 16, at its Auraiya (Pata) Complex in India. Expectations are to complete repairs and restart the unit by May 15.
Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited has rescheduled a 30-day planned turnaround on the 485 million pound-per-year ethylene unit at its Lepetkata Complex in India. The turnaround, initially planned for April 15, will now begin June 16. Expectations are to complete repairs and restart the unit by July 15.
