Marathon was forced to shut down multiple units, today, February 26, at its 261,000-BBL/d Los Angeles, Carson, California, refinery due to a fire; units involved are the 43,000-BBL/d Hydrocracker and 20,000-BBL/d Reformer 1. Early estimates indicate the outage will last for at least a month.
Coffeyville Refining began a 45-day plant-wide turnaround, today, February 26, at its 135,000-BBL/d Coffeyville, Kansas, refinery.

Azzawiya Oil Refining Company (ARC) has delayed the restart of its 120,000-BBL/d Azzawiya Refinery in Libya after an unplanned shutdown on February 8 due to a crude shortage; nine major units were affected. The refinery is expected to be restarted by March 4.
Shandong Shouguang Luqing Petrochemical Company was forced to cut the operational run rate at its 60,000-BBL/d (Design capacity: 100,000-BBL/d) Weifang Luqing Refinery in China by 50%, on February 15, due to the coronavirus outbreak. The four major units involved are expected to resume full throughput by March 15.
Zhonghaiwai Energy Technology (Shandong) Company Limited was forced to curtail the operational run rate at its 46,000-BBL/d Rizhao, China, refinery, by 40%, on February 21, due the coronavirus outbreak. Four units are involved, and expectations are to resume normal operations by March 16.
