Pemex TRI continues to run its six refineries without interruption, even though the Mexican government has implemented stronger restrictions to control the spread of COVID-19. The sites continue with ongoing planned repairs, most of which began in late 2019 or early 2020. Refinery run cuts are mainly due to financial reasons. Refineria Ingeniero Antonio M Amor (Salamanca) and Refineria Ingeniero Antonio Dovali Jaime (Salina Cruz) have reported an additional 10% reduction in output due to COVID-19 risks.
