Luminant Generation Company LLC took the 1,209-megawatt (MW) Comanche Peak 01 unit offline on October 11 at its Comanche Peak Nuclear Generating Station in Texas for a refueling and maintenance outage. This event is expected to end November 3.
American Electric Power Company Incorporated, on October 12, took the 1,077-MW Donald C Cook 02 unit offline at its Donald C Cook Nuclear Power Station in Michigan after the unit tripped offline due to low main condenser vacuum levels. This event is expected to end October 15.
Duke Energy Carolinas LLC, on October 12, took 16.92 MW offline from the Oconee 01 unit at its Oconee Nuclear Power Station in South Carolina. The unit is coasting down for a refuel outage and is operating at 98%. This event is expected to end October 16.
