Entergy Louisiana LLC took 823.2 megawatts (MW) offline from the Waterford 03 unit, today, December 15, at its Waterford Three Nuclear Power Station in Louisiana. The unit is operating at 30% after a reactor trip. The event is expected to end later today.
System Energy Resources took 308.22 MW offline from the Grand Gulf 01 unit, today, December 15, at its Grand Gulf Nuclear Power Station in Mississippi. The unit is operating at 78% while ramping back up from a main turbine and generator trip. This event is expected to end later today.
Energy Harbor LLC took 87 MW offline from the Perry 01 unit on December 14 at its Perry Nuclear Generating Station in Ohio, for a rod pattern adjustment. The unit is running at 93% and will return to full power later today.
