Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement & Power District took the 411-megawatt (MW) Coronado 01 unit offline for maintenance on January 1 at its Coronado Generating Station in Arizona. This event was previously scheduled to end January 25, but now will end January 21. Separately, the company took the 411-MW Coronado 02 unit offline on January 2 due to a transformer failure. This event was previously scheduled to end January 11, but now will end January 25.
Talen Energy Corporation took 74.82 MW offline from the Susquehanna 02 unit, today, January 12, at its Susquehanna Nuclear Power Station in Pennsylvania due to flex operations. The unit is running at 94% capacity, and this event is expected to end later today.
Energy Harbor LLC took 49.6 MW offline from the Perry 01 unit, today, January 12, at its Perry Nuclear Generating Station in Ohio for a refueling outage. The unit is running at 96% capacity, and this event is expected to end March 6.
