Bonneville Power Administration's 500-kilovolt transmission line connecting the Summer Lake and Malin substations in Oregon, as well as its 500-kilovolt transmission line between the Grizzly and Captain Jack substations, also in Oregon, are currently out of service due to the Bootleg Fire in southern Oregon. A return-to-service date is unknown at this time. The blaze has impacted the California-Oregon Intertie, and has reduced the electricity capacity to California by 5,500 megawatts (MW).

Dynegy Zimmer, LLC has rescheduled the restart of the 494-MW William H. Zimmer 01B (LP) unit at its William H. Zimmer Power Station in Ohio. The restart is now expected July 14.

Energy Harbor LLC took 26.23 MW offline from the Perry 01 unit, today, July 13, at its Perry Nuclear Generating Station in Ohio, for equipment testing. The unit is operating at 98%, and this event is expected to end today.
