SUGAR LAND--September 13, 2021--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Tropical storm warnings are in place for the entire Texas coast, along with a hurricane watch that is in effect for Port Aransas near Corpus Christi, to San Luis Pass near Galveston. At least one petrochemical producer in Corpus Christi has derated its 2.5 billion-pound-per-year ethylene unit in advance of the storm, which is expected to make landfall Monday evening somewhere along the mid-Texas coast.
