Talen Energy Corporation, today, October 12, was forced to take the 1,247-megawatt (MW) Susquehanna 02 unit offline at its Susquehanna Nuclear Power Station in Pennsylvania, after a main turbine trip caused the reactor to depressurize. This event currently is under investigation.
