Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Following its merger with the National Marine Dredging Corporation (NMDC) in March 2021, the United Arab Emirates' (UAE) National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) has seen its strategy to become a major engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor in the Middle East bear fruit.

In a competitive race, NPCC managed to bag a major EPC contract from Saudi Aramco (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) for the Zuluf offshore field. NPCC also is executing a number of offshore projects, such as Mumbai High in the Indian Ocean; Dalma and Bu Haseer, Zuluf, Ribyan, Marjan and Safaniya in the Persian Gulf; and the recently awarded Umm Shaif (LTDP-1) Long-Term Development offshore project with ADNOC.
