Pemex has maintained production capacity at 53% at its 177,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) refinery in Ciudad Madero, Mexico, this month and plans to increase it to 56% in February. The 137,000-BBL/d Crude Combo 3 is running at 75,000 BBL/d, and the 40,000-BBL/d Crude Combinada BA Unit 110 at 22,000 BBL/d, while other major processing units are being kept online. Separately, the 15-day planned turnaround on the Reformer Unit 901 remains on schedule to be performed in March.

Eni SpA has started a planned a plant-wide maintenance turnaround at its 130,000-BBL/d Taranto Refinery in Italy. The two-month planned maintenance turnaround, which was originally scheduled to start in mid-February, instead kicked off January 15 and is expected to be completed in mid-March.
South Refineries Company (SRC) continues with a 39-day (previously reported to be a 30-day) planned turnaround on the 70,000-BBL/d Crude Area 1 at its 210,000-BBL/d Basra Refinery in Iraq, which began on January 3. Expectations are to complete repairs and restart the units by February 10 (previously reported to be February 1). Major units in Crude Area 1 include the 70,000-BBL/d Crude Distillation Unit 1, 8,000-BBL/d Reformer 1, 6,000-BBL/d Naphtha Hydrotreating 1 and 29,000-BBL/d Distillate Hydrotreater Unit 1.
