Marathon, today, February 21, experienced an explosion on the 110,000-BBL/d Gas Oil Hydrocracker 215 Unit at its 530,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Garyville, Louisiana, refinery. The unit was undergoing planned maintenance that began January 27. Additional details are not confirmed at this time.
