Marathon, on March 11, will start a 35-day planned maintenance turnaround of the 60,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Crude 2 Unit, 104,000-BBL/d Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) and 13,000-BBL/d Alkylation (Alky) Unit at its 261,000-BBL/d Los Angeles Carson Refinery in California.
Pemex TRI has not yet restarted the 50,000-BBL/d Delayed Coker Unit at its 177,000-BBL/d refinery in Cuidad Madero, Mexico. The unit is expected to be back online by the end of the week.
International
KirishiNefteOrgSyntez continues with a planned reconstruction of the 7,300-BBL/d Reformer LG-35-8/300B (Aromatics) Unit at its 420,000-BBL/d Kirishi Refinery in Russia. The unit was shut down in March 2021, and the restart is expected by late April.
Gazprom Neft PAO continues with a planned reconstruction of the 4,600-BBL/d Catalytic Reformer L-35/11-600 Unit at its 400,000-BBL/d Omsk Refinery in Russia. The restart is tentatively expected in April.
PT Pertamina Persero Balikpapan, on March 4, was forced to shut down the 27,500-BBL/d Hydrocracker Unit (HCU B) at its 260,000-BBL/d RU V - Balikpapan Refinery in Indonesia, due to a flash fire at the unit. The restart is expected by March 13. The other refining units are operating normally.
